Emergency Resources for Artists
- If you are experiencing a temporary financial hardship due to an emergency or crisis situation, please contact the Office of Financial Aid at financialaid@juilliard.edu. Students are advised to exhaust all other possible financial resources before applying for emergency assistance, including student loans and personal financial accounts.

Federal/State/City Resources -
- Fair Fares NYC began in early 2019 as a program for certain eligible New Yorkers receiving Cash Assistance and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits.
- Resources for New Yorkers including health and wellbeing, food, rent/housing support, and employment opportunities.
- Boston Singers Resource COVID-19 Emergency Relief - Grants for New England-based classical singers who are dealing with canceled performances.
- San Francisco Arts & Artists Relief Fund - Grants of up to $2,000 for eligible artists in San Francisco, CA.
- Taking Care COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund (theatreWashington) - Grants to Washington-area theater professionals who face financial hardship from immediate closings, postponed productions, and other lost wages.

- Another Round Another Rally is a nonprofit providing $500 grants to employees in the hospitality industry that have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
- The Service Workers' Emergency Fund provides assistance and funding to struggling service workers.
- Modest Needs provides grants and other short-term financial assistance to gig workers and others in temporary financial distress.
- Jazz Foundation of America - Providing financial assistance to jazz musicians impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Max’s Emergency Relief & Resource Fund - Offering $500-$1,000 grants to self-employed artists in New York State that have experienced a temporary financial setback
- Motion Picture & Television Fund (MPTF) COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund - Temporary financial assistance for members of the entertainment industry that have needs created or complicated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Brave of Heart Scholarship - Scholarship America - A fund created by New York Life and Cigna to provide charitable relief grants to support the families of healthcare workers who lose their lives to COVID-19.
- RedRover Urgent Care Relief - Provides financial assistance to pet guardians struggling with economic hardship when pets are in life-threatening situations.
- Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation Family Assistance Program - Help for qualified families of kids with cancer impacted by COVID-19.
- Entertainment Community Fund (formerly the Actors Fund) - Emergency financial assistance is available for people who are unable to pay their basic living expenses (food/housing/health care) over the next two months.
